A Fellow of the ICE and project management professional, Liz has over 25 years’ experience in engineering and construction. She has built on her skills as an Army Officer in the Corps of Royal Engineers delivering projects across a variety of sectors: Transport and Highways schemes, leading a Local Authority Project Delivery Team; and leading major multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects in the rail sector as both a contractor and consultant. Prior to joining Mott MacDonald, she was the Alliance Manager on Wessex Capacity Alliance, a £600m rail infrastructure project, where she developed her passion for collaboration. Until recently she was a Project Director working on HS2 and Crossrail 2 and is now the Divisional Director for Foundations and Geotechnics within the Metros and Civil Division. She is also a Supervising Civil Engineer, Women in Rail mentor and involved in promoting the Armed Forces within Mott MacDonald.
