EDF Energy - Hinkley Point C Project
I am the Project Services Director supporting the construction phase of the Hinkley Point C Project by delivering elements integral to the operating station such as documents, records and data I also have responsibility for Business and System Architecture, as well as Change, Innovation and Nuclear Safety Culture. In a practical sense I am accountable for Operational IT in the project, as well as IT project delivery and implementation. Central training is part of my role, providing the essential enabling training for personnel to go to work on the project, as well as working closely with the MD of HPC to design the transformation from a pre-FID project to a post FID project, with emphasis on future strategy and maintenance of project health.
I am a Behavioural Safety Specialist with more than 30 years in the infrastructure industry. In 2014 I gained an applied Doctorate entitled Business Transformation using Health & Safety as a focal lens and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Building having delivered large and complex infrastructure projects for more than 30 years. I am a Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Directors, A Fellow of the Institute of Occupational Safety & Health with an International MBA and I hold a seat as a visiting Academic at my alumni university.
In my free time, I advise the British Army holding the officer rank of Colonel in the Engineering Logistics Staff Corps commissioned as a Royal Engineer. I am also studying French and enjoy skiing with my family in France.
