David joined British Land in November 2018 and works as a Project Director on the Canada Water masterplan. The project, adjacent to the Canada Water & Surrey Quays stations, covers 50 acres and will deliver a new urban centre for London with up to 5m sq.ft of development comprising workspace, retail, leisure, culture and residential alongside higher educational and community uses. David is responsible for bringing forward proposals for a number of buildings within the wider masterplan, including the existing Harmsworth Quays Printworks, previous site for the publication of the Standard, Daily Mail and Metro for 24 years.
David also oversees British Land’s wider efforts to promote and recognise the use of innovative construction technologies within our projects.
David joined British Land from Argent, where he delivered a number of buildings at King’s Cross including the Midland Goods Shed and the Aga Khan Centre, as well as overseeing the strategic programme for King’s Cross.
