This category celebrates leadership in the field of access and scaffolding provision within the UK.
We don’t mind admitting that Allied Access has grown from humble origins. Back in 1982, we had two three-tonne trucks and worked out of an Oldham lockup, but our team has always had vision and a remarkable work ethic. Now, we’re one of the largest independently owned access companies in the North of England, and we’ve achieved that by doing the right things and looking after our customers. Allied Access might have started small, but our growth demonstrates our skill, energy and commitment. We are excited about the future, and what’s more, we’re ready for it.
We feel that we have demonstrated we are leading the way in innovation and becoming sustainable for the future. This is by ensuring that all elements of the company. Is being monitored by new systems of work that helps the management team develop new ideas to ensure the staff are supported when needed. We ensure all our staff are up-to-date and progressing in their training. We invest in the best systems and equipment to provide our staff with all they need, we listen. We provide unique scaffolding systems that is diverse to accommodate all projects needs.
We gained a detailed understanding of the scope of works which our client HH Smith was to undertake and the strict guidelines which we were going to be working under due the listed nature of the building. A collaborative approach was required with both Buckley Design Solutions and HH Smith to deliver the best solution for this project. Connolly Scaffolding's experienced team delivered the project seamlessly, from the Construction Director to on-site supervisors and skilled scaffolding operatives. Our innovative solutions, collaborative approach and unwavering dedication to excellence are what make us one of the leading scaffolding Companies in the UK.
GKR has demonstrated its dedication to be at the forefront of the scaffolding and access industry and to provide a pivotal role in delivering some of the United Kingdom’s most high-profile construction projects. We have set a clearly defined pathway to reduce our emissions being the first scaffolding contractor to join the Science Based Target Initiative, whilst developing scaffolding and access solutions to the upmost level and continuing to engage with stakeholders to promote construction careers at every level. Ultimately, we strive to set a new standard of what can be achieved as an Access and Scaffolding specialist.
