John F Hunt
One Liverpool Street Phase 1

John F Hunt's One Liverpool Street project is one of the most challenging projects currently being undertaken in London. The demolition of the structure, lifting and positioning of large-scale prefabricated components, and use of heavy plant directly adjacent to and in some areas over live rail assets have required the highest levels of control, skill, and competence. John F Hunt has overcome these challenges via technical innovation, quality management, and leadership throughout. This is reflected in the client's perception of the project and the two City of London Gold Awards that it has achieved.

John F Hunt
The Other House Demolition and RC core works

The Other House was by far one of the most technically challenging projects currently being undertaken in London. Situated within the conservation area of historic Covent Garden, this project demanded innovative and complex temporary works solutions. These were necessary to stitch together seven existing buildings while retaining listed sections and constructing new structural elements. Remarkably, this was achieved without any reportable accidents or lost time injuries. Additionally, through innovation, planning, and strategic leadership, the project succeeded in significantly reducing its overall carbon impact.
